Your Clock Deserves the Prestige Treatment
To
maintain its value and to ensure its continuing operation, your mechanical
clock should be serviced every few years. Prestige Clock Repair is uniquely
qualified to put your clock in top running condition.
No Shortcuts
Owner Dave Weisbart has over two decades of experience with
antique clocks and is a graduate of the most prestigious clock repair
school in the country. There he earned certificates in Chime Clock Repair,
400-day and Cuckoo Clocks, Antique Long Case Clocks, Wooden Movement Repair,
and Platform Escapements, among others. Every clock that passes through
Prestige Clock Repair gets the most complete service, based on the finest
traditions of the clockmaker’s craft.
A Passion for Clocks
Dave is an active member of the National
Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, serving as Orange
County Chapter President from 2001 to 2003, and again in 2008 and
2009. He is also on the board of directors of the Los Angeles chapter
(56). The NAWCC has awarded him with both its Gold Appreciation Certificate
and, in 2007, a Fellowship. In September of 2018, he was also admitted to the Freedom of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers
in London, the guild established in 1631 by King Charles I. He has
lectured on horological topics, including at the NAWCC national
symposium, and is co-author of “Tips on Collecting Clocks and Watches,”
an NAWCC publication. At the 2015 NAWCC National Convention, Dave
entered his own musical skeleton clock (right) in the annual crafts
competition. He won not only his category's First Place award, he was
also honored by the attendees with the coveted "People's Choice" award
for the best entry in the competition.
Dave has posted his entire clock collection on the web for
others to share. To see over 60 antique and vintage American clocks, go

In May of 2009, Dave was interviewed by the web site
